A dining room rearrangement and finishes upgrade, paired with selected foodservice equipment replacement, was accomplished by this project.

The general construction included new carpeting, wall finishes, and ceiling, which allowed the replacement of old lighting with LED lighting for appearance and efficiency.

 

New programmable lighting controls throughout the dining and server areas also contributed to the energy reduction.

New foodservice equipment included the main drink dispensing station, which required plumbing and electrical modifications customized to the equipment selected.

Loftus Engineering was responsible for mechanical and electrical engineering, including lighting and lighting controls, working alongside Ball State University’s staff architectural team.
